At Manchester Union brewery we are extremely excited to begin the search for our first full time employee - an assistant brewer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing brewery working immediately under director level so potential for growth as we grow are limited only by the successful candidate’s ambition.

The successful candidate will be working with the brewing director to produce our flagship lagers whilst also getting involved in our specials and limited release projects. Having recently run a successful crowdfunding campaign Manchester Union brewery will be selling lager in cans for the first time and once on-trade volume returns to normal following Covid-19 our new tank pipeline will continue to facilitate that volume.

A love of lager is a must and previous experience of brewing is essential but the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a desire to grow with our company and be prepared to get involved with other aspects of the brewery to make a difference.

We have a clear and ambitious path to growth and we are seeking an individual who is hungry to get involved and become an extra driving force of that growth.

In return we would offer a good salary with performance related, yearly salary reviews and a profit related bonus. We believe fully in work-life balance so normal working weeks will be split over 4.5 days.

Applicants should apply in writing with CV and cover letter to will@manchesterunionbrewery.com
