At Manchester Union brewery we are extremely excited to be growing our team by seeking an experienced brewer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing brewery working in an extremely flat management structure, so potential for growth, as the brewery grows, are limited only by the successful candidate’s ambition.
The successful candidate will be working with the head brewer to produce our flagship lagers, to an increasing production volume, whilst getting involved with our specials and limited release projects. Having run a successful crowdfunding campaign, in 2020, Manchester Union brewery will be packaging lager in cans as well as kegs.
A love of lager is a must and previous experience of commercial brewing is essential. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a desire to grow with our company and be prepared to get involved with other aspects of the brewery to make a difference.
We have a clear and ambitious path to growth and we are seeking an individual who is hungry to get involved and become an extra driving force of that growth.
In return we would offer a good salary with performance related yearly salary reviews. Your normal working week will average at around 40 hours per week. And an opportunity to earn overtime whilst helping out with our brewtap. You will get to meet and chat to our drinkers, and get feedback on the lagers you will be producing. On successful completion of your probationary period, and at the discretion of the management, time would be available to develop and learn with self lead continuous professional development.
Applicants should apply in writing with CV and cover letter to careers@manchesterunionbrewery.com
